Rayder Football Camp July 27-28
Camp focuses on developing players’ skills in all aspects of game

CHARLEVOIX-- The first-ever Rayder Football Camp in Charlevoix will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 27-28, for students entering grades 4-6. The camp will take place at Kipke Field next to the Charlevoix Middle School from 6-8 p.m. Camp check-in will begin on Tuesday, July 27 at 5:30 p.m.
The director of the camp will be Charlevoix High School football coach Don Jess. Coach Jess, who enters his eighth year as Charlevoix High School football coach, is a former Charlevoix Rayder standout where he earned all-state honors and played at Alma College and professionally in Europe. Coach Jess will be assisted by the Charlevoix High School and Charlevoix Middle School coaching staffs and Charlevoix Pop Warner coaches.
The purpose of the camp is to develop players’ skills in all aspects of football, including passing, catching, blocking, tackling, pass coverage and individual position techniques.
Pre-registration for the camp is $35 and includes a T-shirt. The registration fee the day of the camp is $40. All proceeds from the camp will be used to purchase equipment for Charlevoix’s Pop Warner and Charlevoix Middle School football programs. Campers must bring gym shoes or football cleats and workout clothes.
