Boyne City Man Charged with Embezzlement from Petoskey Company

A Boyne City man is facing embezzlement charges in an amount over $64,000 from Bayside Beverage Corporation of Petoskey. Michael Richard Fish, 46, was arraigned on July 8 in Emmet County District Court and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 28. He was arrested by the Michigan State Police. Fish posted a $5,000 bond and was released from the Emmet County jail pending his court appearances. Fish worked for Bayside Beverage as the controller and made out checks to himself. He is expected to enter a plea at the preliminary hearing.
