“This is the beginning of a very bright future for the communities and businesses along the Breezeway route,” states Mary Faculak, East Jordan Chamber director.  “We believe this will not only create an identity for the region, it will also help retain and promote growth in the area.”

The Breezeway is a gorgeous, scenic route that extends along C-48 from Atwood at the west end, through Ellsworth, South Arm Township, East Jordan, Wilson Township, Boyne Valley Township, and on to Boyne Falls.

Not only are the vistas along the way breathtakingly beautiful, travelers have the opportunity to visit an incredible range of businesses in and around the communities on the Breezeway, and enjoy a host of recreational possibilities including canoeing, kayaking, swimming, camping, hiking, golfing, or just relax at one of the many roadside (or breezeway-side) parks along the way.

Mary Faculak states, “The Breezeway is a name our task force, which began meeting two and a half years ago, came up with and it just stuck.  We encourage businesses along the route to use the logo, with the only stipulation that it must be displayed as is and not altered.  A digital file is available through the East Jordan Chamber of Commerce by calling me at (231) 536-7351.”
